Bio
Matthew Kirschenbaum joins the University of Virginia English department as Commonwealth Professor of AI and English after 25 years at the University of Maryland where he was a distinguished university professor. He speaks and writes often about AI in public media, including the Chronicle of Higher Education and the Atlantic, and is currently completing a book entitled Textpocalypse.
